अमितेश कुमार (जन्म : 13 जनवरी 1987, सीतामढ़ी, बिहार) हिन्दी रंग-आलोचना में सक्रिय इस दौर के एक उज्ज्वल और हस्तक्षेपकारी हस्ताक्षर हैं। उन्होंने उच्च शिक्षा दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से ली और इन दिनों इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में हिन्दी पढ़ा रहे हैं। रंगमंच को पूर्णतः समर्पित हिन्दी के पहले ब्लॉग ‘रंगविमर्श’ का वह लगभग एक दशक से सम्पादन कर रहे हैं। उनका काम-काज हिन्दी के सभी प्रतिष्ठित प्रकाशन-माध्यमों पर प्रकाशित हो चुका है। इस्मत चुगताई पर केन्द्रित पुस्तक ‘इस्मत आपा’ का उन्होंने सह-सम्पादन किया और बीच के एक अन्तराल में कुछ वर्ष एनडीटीवी इण्डिया में भी कार्यरत रहे। ‘प्रभात खबर’ के लिए रंगमंच पर नियमित स्तम्भ-लेखन करते हुए उन्होंने समय-समय पर रंगकर्म की प्रासंगिकता, उसके महत्त्व और बुनियादी प्रश्नों को दर्ज किया है। इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय परिसर के छात्रों की रंगमंच से सम्बद्ध संस्था यूनिवर्सिटी थिएटर के ज़रिये भी वह अध्ययन और अध्यापन की नयी दिशाएँ तलाश कर रहे हैं-रंगमंच और साहित्य इस तलाश के मूल माध्यम हैं।
