Felix Padel is an anthropologist and a Professor of Rural Management at the Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur. He is the author of Sacrificing People: Invasions of a Tribal Landscape (1995/2010), and co-author, with Samarendra Das, of Out of This Earth: East India Adivasis and the Aluminium Cartel (2010).
Ajaya Kumar Naik is Associate Fellow, IIDS, New Delhi, and has had more than 10 years of research experience in the fields of informal sector, employment, and poverty.
