Rajendra K. Jain is Director, Europe Area Studies Programme and Professor of European Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is the first and only Jean Monnet Chair in India and Adjunct Professor (Research), Monash European and EU Studies Centre, Monash University, Melbourne. He was formerly visiting Humboldt Foundation Professor at Constance, Freiburg, Leipzig and Tubingen universities in Germany as well as Visiting Professor, the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, Paris and the Asia-Europe Institute, University of Malaya.
