Vishwanath Pandey
Dr. Vishwanath Pandey is a Ph.D. in Sociology and graduate of Law and Journalism. An author and columnist, he is well known in the corporate and business communication world. He has been the Officer on Special Duty and Information and Public Relations Officer of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Member Secretary of the Mahamana Malaviya Heritage Complex. He has worked with Banaras Hindu University for the last three decades in various administrative and academic capacities. He has written many books and articles on Pt. Malaviya. His recent book Visionary of Modern India; Madan Mohan Malaviya jointly authored, was released by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi when the 150th Birth Jayanti year-long celebration of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya was inaugurated along with other commemorative biographical books written in Hindi and English by him. Dr. Pandey was the Member Secretary of the Steering Committee of the Celebrations. He has edited a lengthy commemorative volume published to commemorate the 150th Birth Jayanti Celebrations of Mahamana Malaviya published by the Ministry of Culture and BHU.
He has been conferred the honour of the "Hall Of Fame" by the Public Relations Council of India, Bangalore and "Brains Fellowship" by the Association of Business Communicators of India, Mumbai, acknowledging professional achievements in the area of Public Relations and Communications besides other academic and professional recognitions.
